Generating Wi-Fi from the sun

One of the seemingly crazy ideas that came out from an idea generation shop I attended at the Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), was to generate WiFi from the sun. At the end of the workshop, we had found a very plausible way to do that and use that same idea to improve the traffic problems in Ghana.

MEST has always been a strong pool of brilliant ideas and innovations but combined with the unparalleled ideas from Ashesi students, the idea stats sailed through the roof!

Crazy ideas like how a spontaneous word like an egg could help improve the lightning system in a room to how a group of five or six people could stand on a single A4 sheet with no body part touching the floor! I was in an alternate universe!

Designing Ideas

Always come up with fresh ideas no matter how stale the situation may be. Just take a little more time to think and just don’t assume or conclude on an idea. Try to find other ideas to the same problem. Think of how to cause the problem and think of how to fix it. Assumption is the lowest form of wisdom. Always look for the truth behind the meaning. I really acquired a lot of knowledge. A big thank you to the organizers of the Idea Generation workshop.
